CaseStack Named a Finalist in the Arkansas Governor's Work-Life Balance Initiative
Fayetteville, AR., May 8, 2012 - CaseStack, a leading provider of outsourced logistics solutions, was named a Finalist in the 10th annual Arkansas Governor’s Work-Like Balance Initiative. This initiative recognizes select Arkansas employers who, as demonstrated by their policies, practices and benefit offerings, support and promote work-life balance because they understand that doing so contributes to a more satisfied and productive workforce.
“When this program began a decade ago, the goal was to encourage employers around the state to look
for innovative ways to offer benefits that made workers happy and increase productivity,” said Governor
Mike Beebe. “The organizations honored here today are proof that companies can achieve balance in all aspects of their lives and retain skilled employees. “
Information obtained from the Governors Work-Life Balance Initiative indicates that over the past 10 years employers have made great progress. From the start of the initiative, the number of Arkansas employers that said they offered flexible start/end times increased from 85 to 93 percent, the number of employers that said they offered compensation for military leave increased from 43 to 61 percent, and the number of employers with a work-life balance policy increased from 43 to 61 percent.
Bambi Drisko, Sr. Director of Administration accepted the recognition on behalf of CaseStack at the May 8, 2012 awards luncheon in Little Rock, AR. “It was great to be around representatives of companies of all sizes being recognized for helping employees manage that difficult balancing act between work and family/personal obligations. We are proud that CaseStack was recognized for our ongoing efforts to support our employees,” Drisko stated.
