About BioDiesel
While consolidation is the core of CaseStack's service offering, since 2005 CaseStack President and CEO Dan Sanker has also encouraged the use of biodiesel.
Biodiesel, made from vegetable oils or animal fats, can be blended with diesel fuel at any level. Unlike diesel, biodiesel is non-toxic, biodegradable, non-flammable and inexpensive to transform. Whether in pure form or blended, it can be used in existing engines and fuel injection equipment without any modifications.
This clean burning alternative fuel can:
- Reduce carbon monoxide emissions up to 48%
- Reduce carbon dioxide emissions up to 79%
- Reduce ozone forming hydrocarbons up to 50%
- Reduce hazardous diesel particulate up to 70%
- Be made from the vegetable oil used in your home
- Reduce tailpipe emissions, visible smoke, and noxious odors
