CaseStack Consolidation Programs

Consolidation Programs

What is Consolidation?
The CaseStack consolidation system is simple. We "mass transit" your products by combining many separate deliveries heading to the same DC, store or region into one full truckload delivery. In the retailer-driven consolidation method, the retailer creates the “master” purchase order, outlining the terms of your order and giving them greater control over timing of delivery. Depending on retailer orders, we have the ability to create 100% truckload consolidation.

Why Consolidation?
Not only does the CaseStack consolidation program provide productivity and management benefits, it can also save suppliers up to 40% off traditional services and lower logistics costs by up to 25%*. Aside from cost benefits, the program will cut your time management, increase on-time deliveries, reduce dock congestion and play a role in reducing the amount of trucks on the road, thereby “greening the supply chain.” In addition, our consolidation program is simple to set up and only takes one month for a supplier to become fully integrated.
This strategy allows companies to excel in a complex business environment and successfully manage hundreds to thousands of SKUs. CaseStack currently offers three types of nationwide consolidation programs:

Retailer-Driven Consolidation
The largest global retailer has spearheaded an initiative to reduce supply chain costs called retailer purchase order consolidation. CaseStack is a Preferred Provider of this solution. Many other major retailers are also encouraging mid-sized manufacturers to work with logistics providers who can facilitate increased consolidation. To accomplish this, the retailer creates a multi-vendor ‘master’ purchase order so that a lot of small orders can ship as one full truckload, creating 100% truckload consolidation. CaseStack's retailer consolidation program is the most efficient and innovative in the industry.

Warehouse Consolidation
Manufacturers’ products that would have otherwise been shipped as an LTL are consolidated with other manufacturers’ products that are also stored at the same CaseStack regional warehousing facilities.

Carrier Consolidation
CaseStack has created carrier consolidation in coordination with its trucking company partners. It is driven by advanced algorithmic technology–in simple terms, when trucks are nearby one of the company's warehouses, they use CaseStack’s orders to fill empty pallet spots.
